Daisy Chains

The idea of the game is to complete the four foundations piles (top) from Ace to King with the cards from the same suit.

The seven working columns (bottom) begin with some face down cards and some exposed cards. This game differs from many patience games in that it allows the moving of a block of cards that do not form a particular sequence.

Cards may be moved to a working column from another working column providing the back card of a block of cards being moved (i.e. the one actually being dragged by the mouse) is one lower in value and of the same suit at the front card on the destination column. There are no constrains on the value or suit of other cards involved in a move of a block of cards between working columns.

If all the exposed cards have been moved from a working column, then the next face down card can be turned over by clicking on it.

Whenever one of the working columns becomes empty, then it can be filled from another working column by moving a King, or a block of cards with the King as the back card.

Aces that are not covered may be moved to an empty foundation pile, followed by the two of the matching suit, etc.

Hint: It is possible to form long columns (chains), but these can often be difficult to break later.
