	MAILSERVER @ NIC.FUNET.FI

Help of optional command:

REPLYTO mailpath
REPLY-TO mailpath	(alias)
PATH mailpath	(alias)

RULE NUMBER 1: NEED TO USE THIS INDICATES THAT YOUR SYSTEM MAILER
IS SERIOUSLY BROKEN AND MUST BE FIXED AT FIRST!

You can use this command ONCE per mail request to redirect envelope
reply to indicated address(es!) Default location for reply is sender of
message, but if you can't guarantee it to work, by all means use this
method. This command can be anywhere in message body, as long as it
will get executed at all. (Unknown commands cause flush to the end of
input.)

This address is used for separate reply letters as well. (For example
directory listings are sent separately if they are large..) however this
command affects only on those commands AFTER this one!
Therefore IF YOU NEED TO USE THIS, USE IT AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE!

This command is used to override the mail path that the server chooses
from the header of your mail message. You should use this whenever you
know that the return address of your message will not be useful to the
server. The server only knows about domain style address. This means
that the server understands `name@site.bitnet' and `name@site.edu',
but does not understand `name@site'. (Also `name@site.UUCP' is actively
DISCOURAGED, and you should attempt to get a Fully-Qualified-Domain-Name
for them!)

If you have any doubts about your mail address, you should ask your
system administrator for a correct DOMAIN STYLE ADDRESS.

NO CHECKS ARE MADE TO SEE IF ENTERED ADDRESS IS VALID OR NOT.
(Be carefull! Don't abuse this to implement `mail terrorism'!)

Example:

  From: user@somenode.somedomain
  To: mailserver@nic.funet.fi
  Subject: My first request

  replyto user@othernode.otherdomain
... (whatever else you ask for)

This will send reply envelope and result files to
	user@othernode.otherdomain

In principle you CAN direct answers to any other user anywhere, but that
is strongly discouraged thing to do! Mr. Murphy keeps sure that you will
miss-spell your friends address anyway. Let your friends to do their
mistakes; do not do them for them!

If REPLYTO isn't used, originating address (`From:'-header) or one
defined with `Reply-To:' -header is used.
