Hmm, only machine *I* can think of is an amstrad CPC.  Don't know if this
was ever marketed in US, but a coleague used to use one for experimental
work (still does AFIK) and the 3.25" discs were a nightmare to get hold
of.  

I'm probably wrong though.  How old are the disks?
