I just compiled it on my system just fine.  The only possibilities that I 
can discern is that you haven't updated the libraries 
(Parser,Grammar,Verblib).h with the latest versions 
(if-archive/infocom/compilers/inform/library/*)


NOTE: Followups set to rec.arts.int-fiction, where all the Inform 
programmers live.
