 Simple answer: I don't know. Why? Well, I'm afraid you'll have to be
more specific.

 What computer are you using? If you're using a Mac and want to
download applications, you'll have to use special software to convert
the (usually) compressed files and turn them into applications. If
you're using a DOS PC you have a similar problem, as you need a
program on your PC that can converted the compressed archives into
executable files. If you're using a UNIX system you have to find out
what format the files are compressed with and what tools are at your
disposal on the system to sort out the mess. In short, what files are
you trying to get and what system are you going to run them on?
