Someone has pointed out that I've cleverly overlooked the fact that many
compilers define one of these symbols for you. So for Linux, for example,
you'll have to knock that flag off the SYSTEMFLAGS line for things to work.

I have no access to any Unix system except SGI/Irix. So I need to hear
from people who are actually trying to compile this bastard. Tell me what
else I did wrong. Once I know, I'll be uploading a 1.5.1 version which
will be easier to build.

Prethanks.

(Before you ask -- no, my Netcom account doesn't run on an SGI -- it's
SunOS -- but Netcom doesn't have the X libraries available, so I can't
build there.)
