Well, I use minix mainly for vi. I have an old junker 286 laptop, which
I made into a DVORAK keyboard (incredibly easy to re-keymap...), and
it's great for word processing! I can get almost 200 wpm on that baby!
I'm also in the (slow since I dn't know much C) process of porting the
BSD games from linux to minix, since minix is so closely POSIX
compliant, and the BSD games were made originally in archaic curses. But
right now, it's mainly to have a DVORAK word processor.
