CALL FOR PAPERS Seventh International Conference on Modelling Techniques and Tools for Computer Performance Evaluation May 4 - 6, 1994 Vienna, Austria PERFORMANCE EVALUATION, RELIABILITY, and PERFORMABILITY are key factors in the development and improvement of computer systems and computer networks. The conference will focus on NEW TECHNIQUES and the EXTENSION OF EXISTING TECHNIQUES for performance and reliability analysis. Furthermore, TOOLS to support performance and reliability modelling and measurement in all kinds of applications and environments will be included. Papers sought should present techniques and tools of general applicability, rather than papers with purely theoretical or formal content. CASE STUDIES of real systems are especially welcome, if they are of general interest. Important deadlines: * October 8, 1993 Papers (5 copies, max 20 pages 1.5 spaced, including figures and tables are to be sent to the programme chair) and/or Tutorial proposals (one page to be submitted to the tutorial chair; e-mail preferred) * December 1, 1993 Tool presentations (max 2 pages to be sent to the programme chair; e-mail preferred) * January 3, 1994 Author notification of acceptance or rejection * February 8, 1994 Camera ready copy The proceedings will be most probably published in the Springer Verlag Series "Lecture Notes in Computer Science".
