visiting all those sites to bookmark them. And NO hassles having the
SAME set of BOOKMARKS for different browsers. The file will work with

I would like to quickly tell you why this is a SHAREWARE product.
5 years ago I was diagnosed with a rare spinal cord disease called
SYRINGOMYELIA (SAH-RINGO-MY-E-LEE-AH). A progressive nerve disease that
slowly "shuts down" nerves and feeling to the entire body. In the first
3 years I had 8 spinal cord operations trying to halt the collecting and
thus the swelling of the spinal fluid that shuts off the nerves to the
body.
Please read the READ ME Or Else! file in with the download. It explains my
predicament and what I'm trying to accomplish.
THANK YOU! And the some 4,00 who downloaded the file im 2 weeks on MacWorld's

Subject: [*] ACE! 1.2 - An extendable 'save game' editor
ACE! allows you to edit the 'save game' documents created by many
commercial and shareware games (these documents are referred to as
'characters' by some games). Additionally, ACE! allows you to print details
of these save games.
Initially, you can edit the save games from 'Bard's Tale', 'Doom' (1, 2 and
Ultimate), 'Escape Velocity', 'Foobar vs the DEA', 'Harry the Handsome
Executive', 'Heroes of Might & Magic', 'King's Bounty', 'Mantra',
'Marathon' (1, 2, Infinity, Excalibur and Evil), 'Might and Magic' (1, 2
and 3), 'Omega' (version 0.75 and 0.80), 'Pathways into Darkness',
'Realmz', 'Ultima III', 'Unlimited Adventures' (design passwords and
characters), 'Wizardry Gold' and 'Yipe! III'. However, ACE! can be extended
to edit other save games through the use of plug-in 'modules'.
ACE! is freeware.
ACE! will run on any Macintosh or MacOS compatible computer. It requires
System 7.0 or higher, a minimum of 350k of disc space, and about 640k of
free RAM.
ACE! is distributed as a fat binary, meaning that it runs native on both
68k and PPC processors.
Version 1.2 is scriptable. A number of example scripts are provided that
extend ACE, and you can also make your own scripts to automate your use of
ACE.
This file has been checked for viruses with Disinfectant version 3.7.1.
Permission is given for this program to be included on the Info-Mac CD rom.

Subject: [*] BanzaiSlider
This version has more of the feel of sliding the maps as if they
were huge virtual screens that you could zoom in and out of under the
newton window (see BanzaiReader). Another new feature, unlimited zoomout
with newton press pict books.
Compatible with Garmin II and III (set at 4800 baud and with NMEA
sentence filter) as well as Scoutmaster GPS (just set Scoutmaster's
baudrate at 4800).
Rich Drinkard, a beta tester, made some suggestions on activity
sounds and map display and so that is improved. He also requested the
unlimited zoomout. Evidentally his 28meg flashcard on a mp2100 could hold a
very large map to find his way around. I believe we are going to see bigger
than 4 meg flashcards officially supported by apple on the mp2100.
Rich Drinkard reported me experiments that tripmate does speak NMEA
sentences! So, I shall be working on a version for it!
I am working on a mp100 Garmin II III and Scoutmaster version with
limited features.
Notice also the correction in spelling.
This is embarrassing and in no way was intended as insulting. But,
anyone with Japanese bilingual experience would pronounce Bonzai as "bone
sigh" which would hardly get across the feeling of "Live 10,000 years"
battle cry or "hip hip hooray".
Thanks for avoiding this embarrassment are due Jimmie Jenkins with
20 years experience learning the Japanese language. Also, thanks are due to
David Fiedler and Paul S. Hetrick who wished me luck dispite correcting my
bad spelling first.
I stand a Bonzai, duly pruned and thank my senseis.
With Steve Weyer's newt and some helpful correspondence, I have
been developing a newton gps navigator program for some years while doing a
Ph.D. in theoretical physics with intensive background in differential
geometry and carrying on international correspondence. Thanks are due this
sensei, too.
"The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai in the 8th Dimension" movie
inspired the name for my newton gps navigator program. I wanted a
distinctive name that people would remember and I really loved and
recommend that wonderful crazy video.
Who can forget his gallant and wonderful remark when the crowd
insulted his to be genius girlfriend :
"Hey, don't be mean. Remember, no matter where you go, there you are!"
I'd like people to think of that uplifting phrase when they use my
gps program to go somewhere!
The introduction to the movie spoke of his oriental background and
capacity to go in many directions at the same time (he was a neural
surgeon, rock star and race car driver and perhaps more that I can't

The Kodak DC20 and DC25 are two cool and inexpensive digital
cameras that come with Mac cables and software. The bundled
software is very stable and pretty powerful, but it lacks a
feature that's very important for digital camera users: the
ability to quickly download all the pictures to disk without any
user interaction, making the camera ready for a new series of
shots. The DC20 only carries 8 pictures in hi-resolution mode,
and they must be trasferred to your computer before you can take
more shots. Saving them to disk using the bundled software,
however, is way too painful if you need to take more pictures
immediately after the first round.
The DC20/25 Link utility addresses this problem by providing a
powerful, highly automated way to transfer all your pictures to
disk. It requires very little memory and free disk space
compared to the bundled software, and lets you save the pictures
directly in compressed JPEG format (the bundled software's JPEG
format is uncompressed and doesn't make the saved picture files
any smaller).
New in version 1.1:
- Fixes a crashing bug on 68K machines.
- Supports serial speeds slower than 57600 bps.

Subject: [*] Finder Windows Pro - add a window menu to the Finder
WHAT IS FINDER WINDOWS PRO?
Finder Windows Pro is a MacOS 8-savvy utility that adds a "Window" menu
to the Finder. If you use "Window" menus in other applications, you know
they can be convenient when you have more than a couple windows on your
screen.
Like the "Window" menu in many other applications, the Finder Windows Pro
menu gives you the ability to bring specific windows to the front. The
Finder Windows Pro menu also includes commands with which you can stack,
tile, zoom, and cycle through the Finder's windows. You can assign
keyboard shortcuts to these commands so that they are easily accesible.
You can also add your own custom items to the menu and assign keystrokes
to them as well.
In addition to the standard menu in the menubar, Finder Windows Pro
includes a contextual menu item with which MacOS 8 users can add the
familiar Finder Windows Pro menu to the Finder's contextual menus.
Finder Windows Pro requires MacOS 7.1 or higher, and a 68020 or higher
processor. MacOS 7.5 or higher is preferred. Finder Windows Pro is MacOS
8-savvy if you are a user of MacOS 8.0 or higher.

Subject: [*] FindText 1.3.3
FindText 1.3.3
FindText is a utility that can search the files on your harddisk for that
specific text you know is hiding somewhere. Simply type in the text, tell
it what folder or disk to search, and it will find all files containing
that text. You can even specify where it has to look in the file: the data
fork, the resource fork or both. This saves you having to open ten or more
files to get hold of the one you're after, and FindText can work in the
background, which means you can get on with something else rather than
watching the progress bar crawl across the screen. If speed is important,
try FindText.
FindText needs System 7 or better and runs native both on the PowerMac and
the 68020/68030/68040 Macs. FindText is fully compatible with Mac OS 8.
Version 1.3.3 is a minor update (see the read-me file).
On general request : from now on, you can register FindText via Kagi
(creditcard, cash, check, ...).

Folder Jumper is a cool system enhancement that automatically
jumps to specified folders as you type a file's name in the
"Save As..." dialog box. For example, you may want to
automatically save all files whose name ends with ".jpg" inside
a "Pictures" folder somewhere on your disk.
To set up a destination folder and link it to a set of file
names, all you have to do is to create an alias to the folder
and move it to the "Folder Jump Aliases" folder inside your
System folder. The name of the alias is matched against
user-entered file names in one of four ways: partial, exact,
suffix or prefix.
The alias naming rules for each case are described in a
SimpleText document named "instructions" that's automatically
created in the "Folder Jump Aliases" folder when you click the
"Settings" button in the Control Panel.

Subject: [*] NewCM 1.1J - Japanese Version
This is the Japanese version of the NewCM package.
Inspiration and overview Well, I actually got the idea from Windows. I
noticed that the menu I got when I right-clicked on the background of a
folder window had a "New" submenu with various document types, and I found
myself wishing I had that on my Mac. Well, hey, I'm a programmer!
What to do Part 1: Preparation
- Drag NewCM onto your System Folder (the Finder redirects it to the
Contextual Menu Items folder)
- Open up the Contextual Menu Items folder and make a new folder inside it
called "NewCM Items"
- Put some files in the NewCM Items folder - whatever kinds of files you
find yourself creating most often. Then restart your computer.
Part 2: Usage
- Control-click on the background of a folder window in the Finder. There
will be a "New" submenu, which lists the document types of the files you
put in the NewCM Items folder. Important note: normally, the document types
are listed (like "ClarisWorks word processing doc"), not their names. But
they are listed alpabetically accorting to the file names. This means that,
through clever renaming, you can put the more popular types at the top of
the list.
- Select an item from the submenu. You will be prompted for a file name
(with the orignal file's name as the default), and the file will be copied
to the folder and then opened.
Part 3: Extra options
- If you want the name of a template file to be used in the menu instead of
its kind, add an exclamation point to the end of the name.
- If you don't want the new file to be opened (which you might want, say,
for a font suitcase), you can add a minus sign at the end of the name of
the file in NewCM items.
- If you use both the exclamation point and the minus sign, the exclamation
point should come last. For example: "Frosty document-!"
- Useful for re-ordering the files in the menu: If the third character of
the file name is ')', then the first three will not be displayed.
- If a file (or folder) name ends in '-***', then a divider will be
displayed in the menu instead of that file or folder (folders aren't
normally displayed at all). You can combine this with the above ordering
trick as well.
By the way, you don't need to restart after making changes to the NewCM
Items folder. And yes, those last two features were inspired by FinderPop
and OtherMenu (which I use!).

Super Mac Freecell is the best solitaire card game available for the

that you may never go back!
For all of you who don't know what Super Mac Freecell is a super addictive
solitaire card game. What makes Super Mac Freecell more interesting than
most solitaire card games is that the possibilities to win are only limited
by talent. Nearly every game (approx 99.99 %) of Super Mac Freecell can be
won. This doesn't mean it is simple. Far from it, there is room for almost
limitless improvement. This makes Super Mac Freecell much more interesting
than solitaire variations like klondike, where luck is a large factor in
the game. So why not give Super Mac Freecell a try. I bet you never play
klondike again, I haven't.
Version 1.5.1:
*Fixed the about box which crashed the registered version.
*Fixed lots of other bugs involving various little things.
